I’ve noticed over the past month or so there are a few short phrases that I continuously repeat to myself. One of them is “Be On Time.” I know I just talked about this on my blog, but I repeat this to myself between 3 and 17 times every day. As I grow up I notice more and more the importance of being prompt.
When you show up on time, it shows
   that you are professional
  that you care
  that you are considerate
that you value the time of others
Alternately, when you are constantly late it shows
   that you are a child
  that you don’t care
that you don’t need or want this meeting / job / etc.
that you don’t value the time of others
So, while, I’m not perfect and I still am late from time to time. 2014 is the year that I will be on time.
I’ll be sharing throughout the year more of these mantras that I consistently find myself repeating.
