I’m about three months late on this post, but better late than never right? The final person I met up during my Portland trip was Amy Wing. What a gal! She has her own jewelry business and makes these beauties. Available online and at Portland Saturday Market. She also knows how to throw down a doughnut or four. We ate doughnuts at every meal (yes, including dinner) we had together. Anyway, she’s sweet as can be, so if you live in Portland, go meet her at the Saturday Market!
I hope everyone can take a moment today to remember that today is not just a day off work, but to honor those who have fought for our country. Traditionally, people take a moment of silence at 3:00pm local time to remember those who have fallen in service.
